The documentary explores Faiz's life\, his deep involvement with the Progressive Writers' Movement\, his time spent in prison\, & his eventual exile. It features various musical renditions of his poems\, being celebrated on the streets\, in baithaks\, and on the stage\, truly a people's poet.
