About the event
Dance • Pray • Connect • Be One
The Dances of Universal Peace are part of the timeless tradition of Sacred Dance — a practice in which sacred movement, song and story have brought people together throughout the ages.
Drawing on sacred phrases from many spiritual traditions, the Dances combine chant, live music and evocative movement, creating a living experience of unity, peace and integration.
As we dance together in a circle, we have an opportunity to reconnect with our deeper nature — with the experience of ourselves as Universal Peace.
With Vasudeva
Vasudeva (Vladislav Kirbiatev) is a member of the Dances of Universal Peace Network from Russia. He has been leading the Dances for over 35 years and has followed the yogic path for more than 40 years.
He has played an important role in spreading the Dances in Russia, including during Soviet times, and now trains others to become leaders of the practice.
Vasudeva is also the founder of an ecovillage in Grishino. His spiritual practice includes yoga, kirtan and bhajan. Through his presence and the Dances he leads, he creates an atmosphere of devotional joy and inspiration, transmitting Baraka — Grace.
