Ektara Folk & Mystic Music Festival

This October, Ektara Music Festival brings together the songs of Kabir and the mystic wanderers, and the living folk traditions of Himachal.

Three days of Kabir music, Himachali folk, mystic poetry, community singing, circular dances, nature walks, heritage explorations, conversations and more — amidst the mountains of Bir.

A celebrated folk artist from Malwa region (MP) carrying forward the timeless legacy of Kabir & other Mystic Saints.

• Pt. Sunil Kant Tiwari

A Sitar Maestro and  an Indian Classical Musician from Delhi, he was trained under the guidance of Late Pandit Uma Shankar Mishra and currently under the guidance of Padma Vibhushan Ustad Amjad Ali Khan Sahab.

• Lateeb Khan

Hails from the rich musical traditions of the Manganiyar vcommunity in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, Lateeb has performed for Coke Studio, T-Series and has been the lead vocalist for 3x Grammy Award Winner Riky Kej.

• Buland Himalay

A singer, performer and songwriter, Jatin blends Himachali folk with contemporary sounds, creating music that is rooted, soulful, and deeply resonant.

• Martand Badoni

A contemporary folk musician from Uttarakhand, singing songs from the Himalayas as well as the Ganga Delta.

• Himanshu Khatri

A Sufi & Gurbani Singer from Faridadbad, Haryana, who is a trained classical singer, songwriter and composer

• Naman Sharma

A Hindustani classical musician, educator, and practitioner who teaches North Indian classical traditions, voice culture, and the intimate experience of a baithak.
