1.Free to browse and free to list

Reading the site, sharing a listing and RSVPing over WhatsApp cost nothing. Listing an event, workshop or experience costs a host nothing either.

2.Ticket prices

When a listing sells tickets through On The Hills, the host sets the price, in rupees, and it is shown on the listing.

Before you pay, the checkout page shows the total you will be charged, with each part listed. Nothing is added after that.

You can pay by UPI, debit or credit card, net banking or wallet. Payments are processed by Razorpay.

3.Fees: the host chooses who pays

If the host covers the fees, you pay exactly the listed price. On The Hills keeps 2.5% of each ticket from what it pays the host, and that includes the payment charge. A ₹500 ticket costs you ₹500, and the host receives ₹487.50.

If you cover the fees, the host receives the full ticket price. At checkout you pay the ticket price, the payment provider's charge and a ₹20 convenience fee per ticket. The payment charge depends on how you pay and is shown before you pay. A ₹500 ticket costs you ₹500 + ₹20 + the payment charge, and the host receives ₹500.

Each listing says which of the two applies.

Either way, the host is paid within 10 days of the event's end date.
