Cancellation and refunds
If a host cancels, you get everything back. If you can't make it, the host's rule applies, and you see it before you pay. We start a refund within 2 working days.

1.Who refunds you
When you buy a ticket on On The Hills, EXPBOX BRANDS LLP takes the payment on the host's behalf, so a refund comes from us, back to the card, UPI account or bank account you paid from.
This page covers tickets bought on this site. If you paid a host directly, at the door, over UPI or on another site, the refund is between you and them; our terms explain why.
2.If the host cancels
You get back everything you paid: the ticket price, the ₹20-a-ticket convenience fee and the payment charge, where you paid them. You don't need to ask. We start the refund as soon as the host tells us, and email you when we do.
An event that doesn't happen, or where the host doesn't turn up, counts as cancelled.
3.If the host moves or changes the event
If an event moves to another date or venue, or changes so that it's no longer what the listing described, we email you and you choose: keep your ticket for the new arrangement, or take a refund of everything you paid, fees included.
You can ask for that refund any time before the event's new start time.
4.If you can't make it
Each listing shows its cancellation rule next to the price, and again at checkout before you pay. The host sets it. A common one is "full refund up to 48 hours before".
If a host hasn't set a rule, this one applies: cancel at least 48 hours before the start time on your ticket and we refund the ticket price. Cancel later than that, or don't turn up, and there is no refund.
When you cancel, the ₹20-a-ticket convenience fee and the payment charge, where you paid them, are not refunded, because the payment they cover has already been made.
5.How to ask for a refund
Write to hello@onthehills.in or WhatsApp +91 81301 15431 with your booking reference and the email address you booked with.
6.How long a refund takes
We start an approved refund within 2 working days. It then reaches the card, UPI account or bank account you paid from within 5–7 working days. Cards issued outside India can take 10–12 working days, depending on the bank.
Refunds go back to the way you paid. We can't send one to a different account, or in cash.
If a refund hasn't arrived after that, write to us and we'll send you its reference number (the ARN), which your bank can use to trace it.
7.If the event wasn't what you expected
Take it up with the host first: they run the event, and we sell the ticket on their behalf. If you think the listing misdescribed the event, tell us. We'll look into it with the host, and correct or remove the listing if it was wrong.
