Wonder Journey to the Moon
About the event
The opening evening of the Moon Festival in Bir (14–20 September), under the Cosmic NightSKY Safari series, Wonder Journey to the Moon. It is a family evening, for the child in all of us.
14 September is Ganesh Chaturthi and also a Moon and Venus conjunction: both can be seen in their crescent phase in the night sky. The evening is planned as a cosmic safari at Pagdandi Stays, an exploration together with some celebration.
You observe and explore the night sky through a high-powered professional telescope. Mythological storytelling about the night sky and the stars goes with it.
The festival moves between venues:
- 14–17 September: Pagdandi Stays
- 18 September: TBD
- 19 September: Raahi Stays (rooftop Manzil Cafe)
- 20 September: Bir High, Artist Market
