A Celebration of Ecology, Culture and Health

The Dharamshala Arts & Health Festival is a three-day celebration of art, community, ecology, and collective well-being across the many landscapes and communities of Dharamshala.

Inspired by the Global South Arts and Health Initiative, founded through the Global Arts in Medicine Fellowship, the festival brings together artists, facilitators, mental health practitioners, local residents, researchers, and visitors in a shared exploration of connection and belonging.

Through performances, exhibitions, workshops, conversations, and community-led experiences, we will create spaces for creativity, reflection, relationship-building, and collective care. Set amidst the cultural richness and ecological beauty of Dharamshala, the festival seeks to foster dialogue across the diverse communities that call this region home while engaging with the social and ecological realities shaping life in the mountains today.

Together, we move toward greater connection with ourselves, one another, and the land.
