The Four Noble Truths

A four-day course on the Four Noble Truths, the bedrock of Buddhist philosophy, led by Geshema Kelsang Wangmo. It runs 13 to 16 August, an extended weekend that includes India's Independence Day, and turns the focus from external independence to inner freedom.

The course treats the Four Noble Truths as a practical guide to the mind: how to break old patterns, understand the roots of daily difficulties and apply methods for real inner change. It bridges classical teaching with the modern mindset rather than staying with abstract theory.

Each session includes:

• clear, structured explanations of the philosophy
• group discussions and Q&A
• guided meditation

You can join whether you are starting out or deepening an existing practice.

About the teacher: Geshema Kelsang Wangmo was born in Germany. In 2011 she became the first woman to receive the Geshema degree (a PhD in Buddhist philosophy), after a 17-year traditional curriculum in Dharamsala. She is known for her clarity, warmth and insight into the contemporary mind.
