What Is Contact!

A three-day workshop on the foundations of Contact Improvisation. Each day looks at a different way into the practice.

• Day 1, Listening Through Touch: the different layers of touch, from skin, fascia, muscles and bones.
• Day 2, Weight Sharing: how much weight can be shared, which parts of the body can receive weight and when. You learn to give, receive and move with weight safely and playfully.
• Day 3, Possibilities of Movement: how bodies can move together, and how you navigate and relate to the space around you.
